Undervisning Kendetegn
- Udover videnbaserede kurser, er hands-on aktiviteter, dyrkning af kreativitet og slutstenen kurser specielt tilbydes i vores træning.
- Arrangere studerende til at gå til Hiroshima Universitet, Southeastern University at have internationale akademiske interaktioner.
- Dobbelt uddannelsen med berømte universiteter i verden.
Forskning Kendetegn
- Vigtigste forskningsområder: Energy Technology, FAM / Design, Advanced Materials, Precision Manufacturing, Termiske Væsker, System Engineering / automatisk kontrol, Opto-mekatroniske Engineering, elektromekanisk integration.
- Store forskningsprojekter: Design af IC / PV / LED produktionsudstyr, energilagring, brændselsceller, ren kulteknologi, CO2-opsamling, vindkraftsystemer, energibesparelser, Taiwan og Rusland satellit. Det gennemsnitlige forskningsbudget 2008-2010 var 0,099 milliarder NT dollars om året.
- Hver lærer udgiver 2,7 stykker SCI / SSCI publikation om året.

Krav til Graduation
Krævede kreditter: 18 point (herunder "Graduate Seminar" kursus for 4 semestre) varighed Undersøgelse: 2 ~ 7 år Øvrige krav:
- Pass ph.d. kandidatur kvalifikationsprøven inden for seks semestre efter indskrivning (ekskl orlovsperioden).
- Valgfag
- Publish mindst to SCI tidsskriftsartikler (IF ≧ 0,2)
- Pass et mundtligt forsvar af afhandlingen.

National Central University was originally founded in Nanjing, China in 1915. NCU had later developed into a renowned academic institution with comprehensive programs and outstanding faculty, enjoying a high reputation equal to that of Peking University. In 1962, the Graduate Institute of Geophysics was founded in Miaoli, Taiwan as the re-establishment of the University. The campus was relocated to Zhongli in 1968, and today it has become a home to more than thirteen thousand students and teachers.
